“Andrew and Mashaida were extremely easy to work with and were up for any challenge. We were married in a small rural French town in the Loire Valley. Coordinating with them was very easy as they had experience photographing weddings abroad. They hopped on a plane, then hopped in a car, and showed up fresh and ready to work. Our wedding was intimate and small, and they fit right in with our friends – Mashaida with the bridesmaids and Andrew with the groomsman. Our rapport was so good, in fact, our friends couldn’t believe that we had just met, and even thought they were part of the wedding party. We might have just met then, but we feel lucky now to consider them our friends.
They came with their own great ideas for photos, and were also very accommodating of what we wanted. They were generous with their time, and we never felt rushed. They were professional, yet warm. They made us look like our best selves by directing us on poses that made us feel natural and comfortable. We’ve been part of many wedding photoshoots and they can often become really stressful. Mashaida has a very positive and gentle approach that alleviates any tension as she masterfully weaves a narrative throughout the photoshoot.
Andrew and Mashaida also have excellent chemistry. It is adorable watching them work together. For example, Mashaida hopped on Andrew’s shoulders to capture that perfect angle. You can tell they love working together and care about their clients, and it made the experience much more meaningful. Not only did they do a fantastic job capturing our special day, they went above and beyond. Mashaida helped perfect the floral arrangements, while Andrew neatly folded my husband’s pocket square.
After the wedding, the turnaround time for the pictures was surprisingly quick, and the pictures turned out better than we could have hoped for. We are overwhelmed by the sheer number of great shots we received.
Andrew and Mashaida go beyond just capturing photos. They don’t think of their clients as clients – they care for them as friends and it shows. We continue to stay in touch to this day, and I know we aren’t the only ones who had such a positive experience.
